Terms & Conditions

We require the tour to be booked in its entirety, before the tours commences. This payment can easily be made by the various forms of payment via our website.

Cancellations

If a customer cancels a reservation, Dear Tasmania must receive written notice of said cancellation via email at cancellations@deartasmania.com.au. Refunds will work as follows:

  • Cancellations 7 days (or more) before tour date - 100% refund
  • Cancellations 1-6 days before tour date - 50% refund
  • Guests who do not show up for their tour will not be refunded.

    Photography/ Videography

    Photography and videography may be carried out during our tours. By attending this event, you consent to the use of your photograph, voice, likeness and image to be used in publicity materials, websites, and social media of Dear Tasmania.

    Waiver of Liability

    I agree that Dear Tasmania, acting solely as a tour operator, do not own or operate any entity which provides, or is to provide, goods and services for the tour. As a result, Dear Tasmania, is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of such third person, or of any other third party.

    In addition, I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in the tour.

    I do so with the knowledge of the risks and dangers involved, including but not limited to:

  • Physical exertion for which I am not prepared;
  • Forces of nature;
  • Transportation failures whether by car, boat, by foot, or by any other conveyance;
  • Consumption of alcoholic beverages;
  • Risks associated with food or impure water;
  • Civil unrest and/or terrorism;
  • Criminal activity;
  • Accident or illness without access to means of rapid evacuation or availability of medical supplies or services;
  • Negligence in the conduct or arrangement of this trip in any respect from inception to completion;
  • The adequacy of medical attention if required to be provided;
  • Damaged, stolen, lost, or misplaced luggage or property.

    By booking a tour, I hereby agree to be responsible for my own welfare and properties and waive all claims of liability against Dear Tasmania arising from my participation in the tour.

    Services for Visitors with Disabilities

    Everyone is welcome. Dear Tasmania aims to make its tours accessible to all visitors with the help of the following services and amenities.

    Parking and Transportation

    Appropriate visitor pick-up/drop-off is defined at the time of booking. If alternate arrangements are needed please advice at the time of booking or after at info@deartasmania.com.au or 0499 013 476.

    Wheelchairs and Walkers

    Please contact Dear Tasmania at least 72 hours before your visit at info@deartasmania.com.au or 0499 013 476 to discus options to accomodate your booking.

    Service Animals

    Service animals such as guide dogs are permitted to accompany guests as required.

    Restrooms

    Fully accessible restrooms are at every location we visit.

    Verbal Description

    Detailed verbal descriptions of locations for people who are blind or have low vision are available.

    Public Notice

    Dear Tasmania does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission to, access to, or operations of its programs, services, or activities, or in its hiring or employment practices.
